About Us

North Slope Laboratory & Field Services

Arctic Fox Environmental is a North Slope–based environmental laboratory providing accredited analytical testing and field sampling services for operators and contractors across Prudhoe Bay. Our environmental chemists deliver accurate, defensible data with the turnaround and reliability required in Arctic industrial environments.

We have operated in Deadhorse since 1998 and understand the logistics, timelines, and regulatory expectations that shape environmental work on the Slope. Every sample and report is handled by experienced professionals who know the field conditions and the compliance standards that matter.

Our Mission

To provide clear, defensible environmental data and dependable field support that help North Slope operators maintain safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible operations.

What We Do

  • Microbiology testing for drinking water, wastewater, and camp facilities
  • Environmental chemistry for soil, water, wastewater, and sludge
  • RCRA waste characterizations
  • Field sampling for compliance, spill response, and contaminated sites
  • Sample logistics and chain‑of‑custody management

Our work is built around accuracy, consistency, and operational readiness.

Quality & Standards

Arctic Fox follows EPA, ADEC, ASTM, and Standard Methods procedures. Our QA/QC program ensures consistent method performance, reliable data, and regulator‑ready reporting. We maintain direct communication with project teams to support clear decision‑making.

North Slope Experience

With decades of continuous operation in Deadhorse, we understand the challenges of Arctic fieldwork – extreme weather, remote logistics, tight timelines, and 24/7 operational demands. Our team is trained for these conditions and equipped to support both routine monitoring and urgent response needs.
